Atlas 10th Birthday

On 20th April 2011 Atlas Washrooms Systems will celebrate 10 years of being in business.  This is a great achievement, especially in such trying economic times which we have experienced recently.  Atlas have continued to grow even under such tight restraints and it is a testament to every member of staff that this has been possible.  Our current and future order book is looking well and we are sure that we are able to complete another 10 years in business.  The management hope they will be able to mark the occasion with an event for all staff to show their gratitude. Over these 10 years it is estimated in excess of 50,000 cubicles and 15,000 vanity units have been manufactured and installed throughout the UK.

Atlas Win Health & Safety Award, Twice!

Atlas Washroom Systems have recently won  the subcontractor peer award for Health and Safety in 2 consecutive months on the prestigious Billingham Forum Site.  The award is voted by all subcontractors on-site and is a representation of how health and safety conscious operatives are on-site.  This highlights that the health and safety methods and documentation applied at management level are being implemented successfully and all our staff are benefiting.  Hopefully we will achieve more of these type of awards into the future.

Atlas Aquire Second Panel Saw

Due to increase in demand for our products, Atlas have recently purchased a second panel saw (Holzma 380 380 HPP Saw)  which will increase our capacity and enable us to keep up with our current order book and increase this into the future.  Its 3.8 metre square bed will facilitate us to be able to machine all panel sizes with   The new saw has over twice the cutting capacity of our current saw and will mean that with 2 saws running we can machine Solid Grade Laminate and Melamine Faced Chipboard in parallel.  It is equipped with Magi-Cut optimisation software, which ensures that we maintain the best yield from the raw materials we use and minimise the amount of waste produced.
